IT S TIME FOR A CHANG E Pub fire PHOTOS BY MICHAEL IVANINN / SPECIAL TO THE BEAVER ATTIC FIRE SPREAD TO ROOF: Oakville firefighters douse a blaze at the Sixth Line Pub, located at 1500 Sixth Line. Firefighters were called to the building just before 4 p.m. after witnesses reported seeing smoke coming from the roof of the building. The firefighters determined the blaze was in the restaurants attic and succeeded in extinguishing it before it spread to the adjacent units. The fire was extinguished at approximately 4:45 p.m. No one was injured in the fire, however, damage to the building is estimated at being approxi- mately $500,000.
