James also claimed division titles at the Halton District School Boards Amos senior cross-country champi- onships Tuesday in Burlington. Pine Grove won the tyke, atom and intermediate girls champi- onships while also placing second in the atom boys grouping. Maple Grove took the atom boys crown and was second in bantam boys competition. E.J. James won the bantam boys division and was sec- ond in atom girls. The Amos senior meet featured Grades 3-8 runners from 48 ele- mentary schools across the region. Nearly 2,200 runners participated in the meet at Sherwood Forest Park. The course length ranged from 1,200 to 2,200 metres, depending on the age group. AMOS SR.
