The incident took place shortly before 1 a.m. when an employee of a local business was making a cash deposit at the bank. Police said the victim was attacked as he reached the doorway to the automated teller. He was punched in the back of the head by a man who had run up behind him. The suspect then ripped the envelope contain- ing and undisclosed amount of money from the victims hand and fled the scene by running down a footpath behind the bank. The victim was not injured during the robbery. The suspect is described as male, white, 20 years of age, 5-foot-10 in height, with brown hair. He was wearing a grey hoodie with a white t- shirt underneath and a black balaclava over his face. No weapon was seen.
