The annual run was moved to family- friendly Coronation Park this year and adult volunteers are needed to help with the new 5 km route through Bronte. On the day of the Terry Fox Run, adults with authority are required to assist police and security to ensure that traffic barriers are manned, provide directions and gener- ally assist with traffic and crowd control. Adults with previous experience with crowd control are needed to help on the morning of the run. Contact Anita Weisseneder at 905-845-6601, ext. 3568. This years Terry Fox Run is at Coronation Park on Lakeshore Road, just east of Third Line. The run starts at 10 a.m., with registration beginning at 9 a.m. Participants can choose to run, walk, bicy- cle, or inline skate either a 5K or 10K route. Pledge sheets for the Terry Fox Run are available at all Scotiabank, TD Canada Trust and LCBO locations throughout town. Pledges can also be made online at www.terryfoxrun.org. Registration will be available on site on the day of the run. The Terry Fox Run is celebrating cancer survivors with special 30th Anniversary Terry Fox Run Survivor T-shirts.
