Mosen spent six years with the club, building a strong technical program and initiating the clubs Academy program as well as its open development program and the development of the clubs house league. His resignation was effective immediately. The club is extremely thankful for Bretts tremendous efforts over the past six years, said OSC Chief Administrative Officer Paul Varian. He has taken the development of our players to new heights and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors. Club seeking replacement The club is currently searching for a new technical director to drive the best possible develop- ment of its 10,000-player base into the future. We will commence the recruitment of a new leader for our technical programming immediately, Varian said. This leadership position is very important to the club, partic- ularly as we embark on the devel- opment of a new five-year strate- gic plan. Purcell, who attended StFX from 1984-1988, was a prolific scorer with the X-Men hockey team. He led the team in scoring for four consecutive seasons, The Halton Mens Non-Contact Recreational Hockey League and Oakville Womens Rec Hockey League are both currently registering for the upcom- ing season. The mens league, entering its 28th consecutive season, operates in a house league format, taking indi- vidual or small group entries only. Games are played in prime time with the choices of Sunday mornings or Sunday, Monday or Wednesday evenings. Divisions are provided for 20+, 30+, 40+ and 47+ age groups. The womens league provides recreational play in prime time on Sunday evenings. Teams play an 18- game schedule.
