Oakvilles largest taxi company Oakville United Taxi is celebrating their 10th anniversary and couldnt be any more excited and proud. These guys have done an awesome job, Miroslav El-Bassyouny, manager, Oakville United Taxi says of their driver/ owner team. Our owners are also the drivers so they know the town, the peo- ple as well as what is needed for a suc- cessful business, he continues. The company first opened in August 2000 by drivers of the then only other company in town. When we first started we were using the old dispatch system which was very primitive. Now we have GPS, more than 65 cars on the road and are now the largest company in Oakville and one of the largest in Halton. Giving back to the community has also been very high on their priority list. We are very involved in the community; we deal with people on a daily basis and want to give back to the community that has treated us so well for the past 10 years. Oakville United Taxi has been a part of Red Cross Drivers for Blood, a sponsor for the Oakville Soccer Club and others. For more information about Oakville United Taxi call 905-338-0044.
