The event is hosted by the Halton Catholic District School Board. The event is to bring together students, parents, priests, educators, trustees and administrators of the seven Catholic school boards within the diocese. The event begins at 4 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., Reverend Anthony F. Tonnos, Bishop of Hamilton and Reverend Gerard Bergie, Bishop-Elect of St. Catharines, along with many priests from the diocese will concele- brate a special mass. The Hamilton diocese operates 280 schools with 134,600 students. Small Business Week 2010 will begin with a kick-off breakfast featuring speaker Arlene Dickinson on Monday, Oct. 18. A 20-year marketing veteran, Dickinson grew Venture Communications from a small, local firm to one of the largest inde- pendent agencies in Canada with offices in Toronto, Ottawa and Calgary. Dickinson is also a judge on CBCs Dragons Den, the shows marketing expert, its lone female judge, and one of its break- out stars. The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with registration and breakfast, with Dickinsons presentation from 8 to 9 a.m. The breakfast event is at the Operating Engineers Banquet & Conference Centre located at 2245 Speers Rd.
