Survived by her loving husband of 64 years, William Clifford Irvine, cherished mother of Valerie, Richard, Murray, Ma r i anne (Boone ) and Doug l as . P roud and devo t ed g r andma to Ryan , Christopher and Michael Irv ine, Jessica, Alexander and Spencer Boone, and Jameson and Taylor Irvine. Grace was both fr iend and mentor to her loving daughters-in-law Molly, Cathy and Wendy and son-in-law Stanfell. Family was central to Grace's happiness and she passed this cherished value on to her children and grandchildren. Grace loved gardening. She was an active member of the Oakville Horticultural Society and keen competitor in flower arranging. She became a decora t i ve and hor t i cu l tu ra l j udge and app l i ed he r sk i l l s as a co-founder of the Garden Guild, a tireless group of volunteers who worked to beautify the grounds of St. Jude's Church. Our heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Howell House for the loving care Grace received. A special thanks to Sarah Gault who was Grace's dear friend and guardian angel while at Howell House. A private family funeral will be held at St. Jude's Anglican Church, followed by interment at St. Jude's Cemetery.
