- Lillian Mary Spence (1911-1991) was born in Nelson Township, Halton County, the daughter of Lockhart Spence and Eliza Laura King. She graduated in Nursing from Brantford General Hospital in June 1934 and nursed for many years at the Halton Centennial Manor in Milton (now "Allendale").
Lillian married R. George Thomas of Mount Nemo and they made their home at Brookville, Ontario. - Notes
