(tfn) E CUNNEYWORTH , Ronald Henry Victor May 24, 1929 February 3, 2007 Ron passed away peacefully at Peel Memorial Hospital Saturday, February 3, age 77.Beloved hus- band of Mary Angela (Oresky), fa- ther of Wayne Edgar, Allan Ronald (Janet Howard) and Robert George (Connie Mitchell), gramps to Amanda Rae and Amber-Lea Cun- neyworth, and to Samantha and Stephanie Schueler, Ron was pre- deceased by his six siblings: Edna May (Glyndwr Hunt), Edgar John (Doris Hackett), Robert Gordon (Lillian Long), William Percival (Jean Budreau), Margaret Ellen (Arthur Cross) and Allan Thomas (Margaritta Cowley). He is sur- vived by a loving family, good friends and many shared memo- ries. Ron was a unique individual and, its fair to say, a recognizable product of his working class St. Clair Avenue neighbourhood, both now part of Torontos his- tory. A butcher all his life, he was employed by Canada Packers from age 15 until his retirement. Old school tough and contrary on the outside, he had love in his heart for those who could see it. He was happiest watching horses at the track, reeling in a fish at the end of his line or re-reading a favourite Louis LAmour cowboy novel. If he could live his life again, he would live out west. Many thanks to Dr. Clive Wulwik, the staff at Orangeville and Peel Memorial hospitals, his home care givers and all those who offered so much sup- port throughout his life. A memo- rial service and celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 10, 2:00 PM, at Acton Baptist Church, 80 Mill St. E., Acton, Ontario L7J 1H6. Those who knew him will appreciate that he would prefer simplicity and smiles rather than a formal, somber service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Acton Baptist Church, or to a charity of your choice. There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the begin- ning. - Louis LAmour Blue Springs Funeral Home 12 Church St.E., Acton. 519-853-2399 PARKER: Craig Hyde Craig Hyde Parker, 54 of Acton, Ontario. Peacefully at home in a room full of love and surrounded by family, January 31, 2007 after a valiant battle with cancer. Loving husband and soulmate of Karen (nee Reczuch). Craigs pride and joy were his children Kyra and Rylan. He will be dearly missed by parents Lewis and Eleanor Parker and his always loving and caring siblings, Christine, Leslie Anne and Matthew. His memory will be treasured by extended family and countless friends. Craig was born in Toronto and was a pho- tographer from early on. He spent many years enjoying the tutelage and friendship of Yuri Dojc, later becoming photographer for the Marcom Group in Mississauga. He valued the many friends he made throughout his career. Craig became a Christian in his 30s and many of his most enduring friendships date from his years at Bloor Street United Church and involvement in study and prayer groups from that time. St. Albans Anglican Church became his spiritual home in Acton, where he has enjoyed loving support and encouragement. Craig took joy from his community partici- pation through the church and his involvement in Scouting in Acton. The family is very grateful to many healthcare professionals for their exceptional and compas- sionate care. We wish to especially thank Dr. George McWilliam and the staff at the Acton Medical Centre, Dr. Andrew Bayley, Dr. Paul Zeni and Linda Dougherty and her wonderful North Halton team at Acclaim Health. Craig was, in his quiet and humble way, an exceptional soul. Craig was a person everyone just had to love. He was the son of Linda Raigla and the late Adel- bert Vorne and was the step-son of the late Enn Andy Raigla. Ray leaves behind: his wife Reni, sons Alex and Rob, brother Mart Raigla (Wynn Clark) and brother- in-law Bill Arentz. Ray spent his youth in Kirkland Lake, where he developed his love of all sports, especially baseball and fishing. After high school he moved to Toronto and worked for Combined Insurance, then spent numer- ous years with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food followed by several years running the Pro Shop at Georgetown Golf and Country Club. He excelled at all he did: catching fish in supposedly empty lakes, out-picking all blue- berry pickers and he knew when a pitcher had lost it, even before the manager did. He will be missed by all in Acton who run garage, trunk and auction sales. Mohawk and Fallsview Casino staff will also miss him. Deepest thanks to Dr. G. Peers and the tremendous nurses at the Complex Continu- ing Care at Milton Hospital, as well as Dr. A. Kapoor and nurse Becky at the Juravinsky Cancer Centre in Hamilton.
