He was the loving husband of Leafy West, father of Fran and her husband Edward Zanin and grand- father of Tasha and Derek. Joseph will be missed by his brother Anton of Acton and his sister Maria in Slovenia, his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She grew up in Newcastle, where she met and married Gordon Thompson. After the War they lived in Toronto and then moved to Acton in 1955 where they lived until moving to Limehouse in 1966. Dorothy retired from Orenda Engines after more than 30 years of service.
