Community Policing Programs, such as the Village Constable Program originally served to better represent the Police Service within a smaller, denser population, usually a Downtown business area where a foot patrol was desired. Though the name stays the same, the role and of- fi ce of the Acton Village Constable is changing to better serve the Community of Acton. Yes, we have relocated to a new space at 315 Queen Street East, Unit #3. This new offi ce space offers so much more than our previous location, notably, a community boardroom, private interview room, restroom, as well as other police tools and equipment that will better allow the Police Offi cers assigned to Acton to do the bulk of their work while remaining in the Town.
