The build- ing will be renovated to look like a modern version of its original building, The Roxy Theatre, which was opened in 1948 as Actons cinema. This newly renovated facility will house Roxy Coffee, Roxy Music and the recently formed Crossings Community Church. Pastor Richard Stanley and his wife Mary-Ellen held an open house for business own- ers in town on the evening of October 22. Among those present were Mayor Rick Bonnette and wife Josey, President of the BIA, Bill and Val Manes, owners of Actons Home Hardware and Dr. David Van der Bent. The event was to intro- duce businesses to the new facility, with the Reverend offering an overview of what will be happening over the course of the renovations. Renovation plans include a whole new fae that will pay homage to the original cinema. The design will have lots of glass that ex- poses the arc of the original building and incorporates a marquee to announce events. The intent is to create a ??? ???? ????? ??????????????? ??? ????? ??? ??? ?????? ??? ??? ??? ????? ???? ????? ??? ???????? ??? ???? ?? ???? ?????? ???? ???? ?? ???? ???? ??????? ????? ???????? bright new jewel in down- town Acton that tips its hat to its origins.
