Many people showed up early to take in the various demonstrations and to sign-up for the many classes being offered. Soul Reflections is a Holistic Well- ness Centre which offers a wide range of Natural Healing and Wellness methods, treatments and products, all offered by qualified providers and instructors. Conveniently located at 39 Mill St. E., the Centre offers Yoga classes includ- ing Baby & Me Yoga, Pilates classes, Guided Meditation and even spiritual circles, along with many products and books dealing with Holistic Wellness and Healing. by Tracey Gardner Soul Reflections opened last Saturday to appreciative clients The federal and pro- vincial governments are allocating $8.4 million to Halton Region to help fund two new rental hous- ing projects in Burlington and Georgetown. The two projects will create 120 units of affordable housing under the Canada-Ontario Affordable Housing Pro- gram. The $8.4 million al- location includes $5.32 million for 76 units within a project at Claridge Rd. in Burlington. The project is sponsored by Bonnie Place and the units will be occu- pied by low-income people. Another $3.8 million for 44 units at 89 Mountainview Rd. S. in Georgetown is sponsored by Residences at St. Andrews Georgetown Corporation. The units there will be occupied by low-income individuals and some families. The 120 units being built under the Canada-On- tario Affordable Housing Program are an important step in addressing Haltons affordable housing gap, says Halton Regional Chair Gary Carr. I would like to encourage the Federal and Provincial Government to continue working together to make affordable housing a reality for Halton resi- dents of all income levels and at all stages of life. The new Canada-On- tario Affordable Housing Program comprises a com- mitment of $301 million from each of the two senior levels of govern- ment. In total, the federal, provincial and municipal governments will invest at least $734 million in the program, which will provide affordable housing for 20,000 households in Ontario.
