I would like to thank residents for your patience and cooperation at this very busy time. As part of Canadas largest immunization campaign in history, Halton Regions staff have been working hard to respond to the needs of the community. I have personally spoken to hundreds and hundreds of residents at our clinics, and we have heard very kind words from many of them who had a positive experience while attending. In 10 days, Halton Region will have used our 73,000 doses of vaccine, using all of the vaccine that has been given to us by the Federal Government. We want to resume our clinics and vaccinate as many more residents as possible, and will do so once we are provided with more vaccine from the Federal Government. Halton staff, including our nurses and numerous support personnel, have worked tirelessly toward this feat. I would like to personally thank them all for the professionalism and dedication they have demonstrated during this busy and stressful time. Thank you to our residents and staff. As always, we demonstrate that Halton is second to none, and truly a great place to live, work, raise a family and retire.
