Independent & Free Press, Wednesday, November 7, 2007 11 Rotary aids Bread Basket Rotarians Brian Thomas (left) and Harry Hope, recently presented Georgetown Bread Basket Food Bank, with a cheque for $1,440, the proceeds from the Rotary Club of Georgetown's annual barbecue at the Canada Day festivities in Glen Williams. On hand to accept the cheque were food bank media co-ordinator Marian Viant, and board member Nancy Heinmiller. The donation will be in aid of the Good Food box program. FMA Live was developed by the National Aeronautic and Space Administration and Honeywell International to inspire students to pursue careers in science, engi- neering, technology and mathemat- ics using a multi-media presena- tion involving hip-hop music and dancing.
