Legion members will march to the Cenotaph in front of Trinity United Church on Mill St. E. with the ceremony to begin at 11 a.m. sharp. A short ceremony will also occur on Remembrance Day, Nov. 11 again begin- ning at 11 a.m. sharp. Info: 519-853- 0910. Sunday, Nov. 11 Remembrance services: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 120 (Georgetown) holds its annual Remembrance Day Parade and ceremony. Legion members will form up at the Legion at 10:30 a.m. and march to the Remembrance Park Cenotaph for an 11 a.m. sharp ceremony. Later that day, legion members will hold a ceremony in Glen Williams, forming up at the Glen Williams School at 1:30 p.m. with a march to the Glen Williams Cenotaph (Confederation and Main St.) for a cere- mony at 2 p.m. sharp Sing Out a Song for Peace: 7:30-8:30 p.m. at Georgetown Christian Reformed Church on Trafalgar Rd. Georgetown Choral Society, Georgetown Childrens Chorus, Georgetown District Ministerial Association and the Legion Colour Party join together in this annual Remembrance Day concert to promote peace. Everyone is welcome to this free event; refreshments will be served after- wards. To commemorate the sacrifice of Canadian Second World War veterans, and to recognize the support of project donors, Juno Beach Centre is offering the opportunity to purchase a "brick", which will be an engraved plaque in a kiosk wall at the site. The donation cost is $250. The veterans' bricks will include the person's rank, name, decorations, unit, dates of service, as well as a comment regarding the veteran's ser- vice, such as "Italian Campaign, "Battle of the Atlantic" or "D-Day Veteran". The donors' bricks, will include the donor's name, other descriptive information, town and province of residence. All bricks will be on kiosks outside the Centre near the front entrance. A directory inside will assist visitors in finding specific bricks on the various kiosks. The donation for the brick, engraving and installation is $250 CDN, payable to: Juno Beach Centre 2407 Woodward Avenue - Unit 24 Burlington, ON L7R 4J2 Note: Now available for an additional $25, an authentic replica wooden brick with the Juno Beach logo will be sent to the donor recognizing the purchase of a veteran or donor brick to show that a "brick" will be installed in the Centre in his/her name.
