Prede- ceased by her parents Jannette and Absalom Newns, sisters Dorothy, Bernice and Mildred, broth- ers Norman, Harold, Raymond and Brydon. Mom led a full life. She enjoyed gardening, dancing and knitting, had travelled to Hawaii and as far away as Yugoslavia and Turkey. She also spent a lot of time baking for her family and others. When she moved to Thunder Bay in 1986 she finally conquered one of her fears and learned how to swim at the Canada Games Complex. Visitation will be held at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Wednesday November 21st, 2007 from 12:00 pm until time of Funeral Service held in the chapel at 1:00 pm.
