The committee makes recommendations to the Board concerning the establishment and development of special education programs and services. The Halton Catholic District School Boards Special Education Advisory Committee is seeking additional local organizations to become members of the committee. The association or organization of parents must operate locally within the jurisdiction of the Board, and be affiliated with a provincial association/ organization dedicated to the well-being or interests of exceptional children. The organization must be incorporated and must meet all other requirements as outlined in Regulation 464/97 for membership to SEAC.
