- The house was built about 1859 by James W. McCraney & wife Augusta [nee Leach.] It was their home until 1911. Photo dated 1905. In 2008, this house still stands as 425 Fourth Line, Oakville. James and Augusta McCraney are seated in the lower right corner of the photograph.
