- On June 5, 1902, Lina (Adelina) married Herbert, called Bert, McCann, who tragically died with their baby in a fire in 1909. Rebecca married Edward, called Ed, McCann.

- Lina and her sister Rebecca were both born in Halton County, Ontario. They were the daughters of John Dixon 1836 – 1901 and Matilda Ford 1837 – 1908.
