The image attached to this article is that of ROBERT COVERDALE (1824-1906), NOT Harmon Henry Inglehart. Robert Coverdale came to Canada with his father/mother William and Sarah (Hill) Coverdale and siblings from Danby, North Yorkshire in 1831. They settled first in Halton Co. Then moved to Haldimand Co. in 1850s
Robert's daughter Margaret Elvira Coverdale married HERBERT Inglehart (1867-1959). And they did reside in Palermo.
The picture posted here of Robert Coverdale was used in the "The Canadian Bee Keepers Journal" August 1907, in an article honouring Robert Coverdale for contributions to bee keeping. I can provide copy of the article for posting.
