- Description
- This farm was called Maple Hill in Sheridan. It was at the crest of the hill on the left side of Upper Middle Road as you travel west from Sheridan. Hardy family members today remember the excellent tobogganing on Maple Hill.
- Notes
- "Maple Hill" was also locally known as the "Red Hill" because of the red clay soil. Heritage Mississauga calls this Trafalgar Township area a "lost" village and you might wish to read their information on Sheridan and Maple Hill at : http://www.heritagemississauga.com/section/?section=8
