- Daughter of Thomas Langton and Rachel McLaren, Lowville. As per the 1901 census, her occupation was as a Dressmaker. Gertrude married Nile F. Bowers on March 5th, 1915, in Los Angeles, Cal. Marriage announcement found in Herbert Inglehart's papers reads: "Mr Nile F. Bowers and Miss Gertrude C. Langton announce their marriage on Friday, March the fifth, ninteen hundred and fifteen, Los Angeles, California. At home - 141 West 23rd St."
