- Peter James Inglehart was the grandson of John Inglehart, a United Empire Loyalist who was one of
the first to settle the land near Palermo. He was described as a farmer from Palermo, age 25, and Charlotte was age 23, from Hamilton, the daughter of John and Nancy when they married. - Notes
