ELEANOR McLAREN (1839 - 1912) 2nd wife of William Cyrus Inglehart,daughter of John McLaren and Nancy Cleaver.
Picture taken 1911 - 1912
Memorial Card: Died in Palermo, on Friday morning,February 16,1912,
Eleanor McLaren, beloved wife of W.C. Inglehart in the 74th year of her age.
The Funeral service will be held at her late residence on Monday, 19th inst., at 2 o'clock. Interment in Palermo Cemetery. Friends and acquaintances
will please accept this intimation." (Herbert Inglehart's papers)

A note from W.C. Inglehart to Eleanor McLaren:
"Spring Brook Farm, Batchelers Hall, October 23
"Dear Ella.....There is a heart that will be true to the (wilst?), There is dew for
the flowerets, And honey for the bees, And bowers for the wild bird, And
love for you and me. There are tears for the many, And pleasures for the few,
But let the world pass on,dear, There's love for me and you.
The Bronte School Celebration is to be next Friday evening, You may
expect me at your boarding place in time to take you there.

"I hereby certify that Mrs. Cyrus Inglehart is a member in full communion
with the Presbyterian Church of Nelson & Waterdown & may be admitted
to Church privileges wherever DivineProvidence may order her lot.
At Waterdown this 14th day of April,1866, by Adam Shinser,
Minister of Nelson and Waterdown. "
