The 11 a.m. ceremony in George's Square will include two minutes of silence and a wreath laying cer- emony. After the ceremony, veterans march away to conclude the parade. The Friends of the Oakville Public Library will hold its annual November Book Sale this week. It takes place in the Auditorium (2nd floor) at the Central Library on Navy Street (at Lakeshore Road). The sale will have gently-read books for $1.25 a pound and VCRs, CDs, DVDs as well as coffee table books indi- vidually (and very reasonably) priced. For $10, you can become a member of the Friends of the Library and have first pick of what is on offer on Members Evening.
