- Clipping from Oakville Record; “Bob” Ford Wins New Chevrolet Coach
Robert Ford won this car as first prize for selling the most subscriptions to the Oakville Beaver Record Star newspaper in 1936. Though the family was very excited about their prize they were unable to keep the car, as the Great Depression stretched on and it was becoming more and more difficult to make a living as a small farmer.
