- Note from Ross Pearen - 'A rarity among bovines, these three bull calves would rather have their lunch than pose for the camera, were born to a Holstein cow, 'Cleveland Elsie', owned by W. O. Snow and Son, well-known dairymen of Milton, Ontario. The triplets, believed to be the first to be born in Halton county, are now a month old and in excellent health. "It is becoming a habit" declared Mr. Snow explaining that three sets of twins have also been born to cows in his herd during the past two years. "And they were all bulls, too" he added. While it is general opinion among cattle-breeders, twins are not uncommon, but triplets which survive, are very rare.
