In a double-ring ceremony, at Holy Cross Church, July 20, Angela Pfingstl and Michael Laing were married by Father Pierre Wood. Angela is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pfingstle, and Michael is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ramsay Laing, both of Georgetown.
The bride, wearing a full length white nylon gown with a waist length veil, carried a bouquet of pink and white rosebuds, and baby's breath.
Maid of honor, Karen Kux, and bridesmaid Jennie Laing, sister of the groom, wore pink and blue floral sheer gowns and carried bouquets of pink rosebuds.
The bride was given in marriage by her father Frak Pfingstl. The best man was Ernie Richardson and the usher Wayne Snyder of Inglewood.
An evening dinner and dance at the Credit Valley club followed the ceremony. A gleamiing, reconditioned '34 Plymouth took the couple north on their honeymoon. They plan to live in Brampton.
The bride's uncle, Hans Ziegner, came all the way from Austria to see his niece married. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Muir travelled from Winnipeg, and the groom's grandmother Mrs. Grace Precious came from Downsview.
