Wedding Fellows-McLaughlin
Sandra Eileen Mclaughlin and Peter John Fellows exchanged vows in a double ring ceremony at Hillcrest United Church, Hornby on August 3 at 4 p.m. The minister was Rev. Lynne Curtin and the soloist was Mrs. Audrey Peddie, while the wedding music was supplied by B. Schrubsole.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall McLaughlin of R.R. 3. Milton and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Fellows of R.R. 2 Rockwood.
Diane Gibbons was the maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Wanda McLaughlin and Gail Jell. Dean Macdougall was the best man and Doug McLaughlin and Dave Stone were the ushers.
Dinner, dance
Dinner took place in the church basement and was catered by the ladies of the church. A dance immediately followed at the UAW Hall on Martin St. in Milton.
Guests came from Angus, Owen Sound, Toronto, London, Orangeville, Mississauga, Milton and surrounding district.
Showers for the bride were held by Diane Gibbons and Gail Jell, Mrs. Mary Brown, Mrs. Lois Parker and by the ladies of Hillcrest Church. A stag for the groom was arranged by Dean MacDougall and was held in the Lions Club Hall in Campbellville.
The bride and groom spent their honeymoon in Niagara Falls and they are living in the Noble Towers Apartments in Milton.
