- SHARPE, William Gordon -- On Tuesday, March 3, 1998 at the Georgetown and District Memorial Hospital. Gordon Sharpe of Norval, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Doris Waite and predeceased by his brother Fred Sharpe. Loved brother-in-law of June her husband Jack Fries and Glen and her husband Garnet Laidlaw all of Norval. Also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the J.S. Jones and Son Funeral Home, Georgetown, Ontario, on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral and commital service was held in the chapel on Friday, March 6 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Norval.
