With 52 percent of Canadians saying they or a family member have needed blood for surgery or medical treatment, a single dona- tion will be appreciated by someone you dont know and will probably never meet. From now until Jan. 2, Canadian Blood Services must collect more than 14,000 blood donations in Central Ontario to help meet the needs of patients.
