She purchased seven teddy bears and 30 coloring bears to give to the patients at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. She donated them to the hospitals maternal ward on Tuesday afternoon. MAY COURT DONATION: The Oakville Salvation Army thanked the May Court Club of Oakville for its assistance in funding for a new service van at the Light House Shelter. Each of the freezable meals, which retail at $150, will be ready just to heat and serve and are to be distributed by the food bank. RIZIERO VERTOLLI / OAKVILLE BEAVER STUDENTS UP TO THE CHALLENGE: The 45 students of Wildwood Academy helped collect 600 pounds of food for the Kerr Street Ministries by issuing a challenge to their teachers. If the students collected more food than their teachers, they would earn a dress-down day. In the end the students collected 450 pounds of food to the teachers 150 pounds. In addi- tion, the students and staff donated $500, raised through hot chocolate and used book sales, to Kerr Street Ministries.
