We would like to sincerely thank the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department for their quick responce to our fire call, early Sunday morning on May 31st., and to the dispatcher who received the call on line as the phone cut out. You all should be commended for a job well done! Thanks also the Georgetown Police Department for responding to the call and their assistance. To Anne and Duncan Stacey thank you for calling 911 again and for opening up your home to our family at such an early hour, your hospitality throughout the day was very much appreciated. A very special thank you to Marion Lendsay, who always seems to be there when we all need her, we love you dearly. I don't think your doors have ever quit swinging since the fire. We would like to send a very special thank you to "Cousin Ron" and Karen Appleyard, Relatives are great! Sorry you missed the fire truck, but your truck just seem to brake and turn around before you reached the fire hall, especially when you realized whose house it was. Thanks to Karen for getting out of bed and coming down to be there for all of us. Thanks for the clothing you brought, especially the pink "Halton Hills Firefighters" T-shirt, we all like it. Also to all our neighbours, friends and relatives, thank you for all your calls of care, concern and support since the house fire.
