Beckett, Todd (Died)

BECKETT, Todd -- The death occured at Hislop Township as the result of a motor vehicle accident of Mr. Bruce Todd Becketton Friday, March 12, 1999 at the age of 40 years. Mr Beckett was a Civil Engineer Technician employed with Exall Resources Glimmer Mine and had also been involved in prospecting for many years. Todd was an avid soccer player who was very instrumental in the growth of the Kirkland Lake Soccer Association. He was also an avid hockey player and fan who had a general interest in sporting activities. He is the beloved husband of Angela (Labine) at home, dear father of Aleena and Kievan. Mr. Todd Beckett is also survived by his parents Helen (George) Moore of Washago and Bruce (Margaret) Beckett of Oakville, one brother Ben (Sally) Beckett of Erin, Ontario and two sisters Bonnie Lea (John) Voros of Georgetown and Bridgette (Lee) Amyotte of Washago. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family of Mr. Todd Beckett received friends at the Monette Funeral Home on Monday, March 15. The funeral Mass was celebrated at Holy Name Parish on Tuesday, March 16, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. Father John Lemire officiated. Cremation with spring interment of the ashes to follow in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery.
