Is this a prudent use of taxpayers money?Humanely trap and remove cat from their property and bring it to the humane soci-ety?! Let me refer you to a January 2008 article in The Oakville Beaverwritten by theOakville Humane Society regarding the trapping and relocation of wildlife. Its illegal. The article refers to traps being left for a long time causing animals to be exposed tothe elements or harassed by other animals. The stress on the animal can cause it toinjure itself while trying to escape. You can imagine how much more dangerous thiswould be for a domestic house cat not used to being outside for any extended period oftime. What next?
