DEATHS
Rayner, Lawrence Edward "Larry" With love and dignity, in his home, embraced in the arms of his family, after a lengthy illness that was fought valiantly to the end, on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at the age of 57. He will be forever held in the heart of his loving wife and one and only true love Patricia "Tric" (nee Sintzel). Caring and supportive and also magnificent father to Lauren and Benjamin. Dearly loved son of Rita and the late Leonard Rayner. Cherished brother of Gail Olthuis and the late Henry, Judy Rayner and Mike, and the late Jim "Jamie" and his wife Marg. Nieces, nephews and family from as far away as Australia will remember him for his patience and generous nature. His life was enriched by many close friends, with whom he shared his love of fishing and philately. No battle was fought alone. Special thanks to doctors Peter Neligan and Patrick Gullane, nurses Barb of T.G.H., Leeann Lush (homecare), and George from the Emergency room of T.G.H. who went beyond the boundaries of their jobs and made a difference in Larry's life. The family will receive friends at North Bramalea United Church, 363 Howden Boulevard, Brampton on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 from 2-3 p.m. A Celebration of Larry's life will be held at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in the care of SCOTT FUNERAL HOME "Brampton Chapel" (905-4511100).
