WILKIE, John Melville "Mel" -- It is with seep sadness, the family announces the passing of Mel on Friday, January 7th, 2000 at the Georgetown & District Memorial Hospital. Beloved husband of Florence Dear-step-father of Gail and Charlie Gibbs, Richard Braisby and Judi Tinsley, Marlene and Robert Krasic. Loving grandfather of Elizabeth, Roger and Sandra, Shelley, Randy, Lisa, Rob and Bill Ryan and Ivana, Shannon and Gary. Great-grandfather of 3. Survived by his sister Hughena Smith of Elora. Predeceased by his twin sister Margaret Holley and his brothers Lewis and Neil Wilkie. Loving remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at th J.S. Jones and Son Funeral Home, Georgetown, Ontario on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friends will also be received at the Thomson-Jeffrey Funeral Home, Fergus, Ontario on Monday from 1-2 p.m. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus.- Media Type
