Description
This photograph shows the back of Centriller Public School in 1974. The school was located near the intersection of Lakeshore Road and Jones Street in Bronte, which is now part of the Town of Oakville, Ontario. The school closed in 1976. This building was the second school, replacing the two story stone school built on the north side of Chisholm St. (now Marine Drine) in 1872 that had been demolished in 1923. This building was erected in 1949.
Notes
Centriller replaced the former Bronte (Public) School, S.S. 13.
