           PENTLAND, Ruth Betty -- After a short illness, at Guelph General Hospital, Betty in her 76th year, wife of Ray Pentland of Guelph and predeceased by son John. Dear mother of Janet Doberthine of Guelph and mother-in-law of Charlene and Greg. Dear grandmother of Jeff and his wife Francesca, Greg, Courtney, Melissa, Andrew and Lyle. Family and friends may call at the Gilbert MacIntyre Funeral Home, Guelph, Ontario on Friday, February 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be heldin the chapel, Saturday, February 12 at 11 o'clock.
