BETTRIDGE, Raymond J. Passed away peaceful ly, surrounded by his family on November, 2nd 2010 at the age of 71 after a valiant, but all too short battle with cancer. Devoted husband o f Sandra . Lov ing f a the r o f Ja red (Samantha) , Joe l (Met te ) , M e r e d i t h ( d e c e a s e d ) a n d A l i c i a (deceased). He will be missed by his brother John (Joan) of Bayf ie ld ON, brothers-in-law Ted O'Reilly and Terry O'Rei l ly (deceased) and sister- in-law Wynn Cushman (Jerry). Predeceased b y h i s p a r e n t s H a r o l d J . a n d Jenn ie Bet t r idge . Raymond wi l l be r e m e m b e r e d f o r h i s m a n y r o l e s , including: a dear husband and loving family man, a well respected university and co l lege lec turer in f inance and accounting, an investment analyst and execut ive on Bay Street . He wi l l be missed by many, particularly the family and f r i ends who prov ided so much support during his illness. The family would like to thank all of the nurses at Credit Valley Hospital in ICU, Ward 2C and Pa l l i a t i ve Care , a long w i th Dr. Besik and Dr. Kumar and all who took care of Raymond during his stay.
