LeDOUX, John F. P e a c e f u l l y o n We d n e s d a y, D e c e m b e r 1 , 2 0 1 0 a t V i s i t a m e r e R e t i r e m e n t Residence in Oakvi l le at the age of 101. Beloved husband of the late Janet Jenney-Ledoux of Oakvi l le and husband of the la te Evel ine DuBois-Ledoux. Beloved father of the late Jeannine Chwaluk-Ledoux and beloved brother of the late Rene Henry Ledoux of Stockton, CA. Two grandsons Mark and Matthew Viney and two great-grandchildren, Justin and Simonne, the children of Mark and Sarah McVanel-Viney. He will be sorely missed by Janets two sons, Hugh and George and by Caro l -Ann . John re t i r ed in 1974 f rom the f i rm o f James Richardson Securities after 44 years of service of which four years were spent as an RCAF Officer in the training of airmen in the Initial Training School Program. On retirement, he was the Manager of the firms Montreal retails sales office. He was a longt ime member of the Summerlea Golf Club in Vaudreui l , P.Q. and served on the Board of Directors. He moved to Oakville in 1977 and from 1978 on, he was a very act ive member of both The Federal and Provincial Liberal Associations. He was an ardent follower of the Duplicate Bridge Game and was well known within the Oakville and Burlington bridge clubs. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Kopriva Taylor Chapel.
