KENT, John "Jack" Frederick March 8, 1930 - December 17, 2010 J a c k l o s t h i s f i g h t w i t h c a n c e r peacefully at Ian Anderson House. He was predeceased by h is wi fe Diane. Dear fa ther o f Mar tyn and h is w i fe Mary Jane and Jeffrey and his partner Judy. Loved grandfather to Laura and K e v i n a n d s t e p - g r a n d d a u g h t e r Amanda. Brother to LuLu Mary Miller o f Pe te rborough. Jack was a long time member of The Oakville Club and had a passion for badminton for all of his life. Earlier in his life he was very involved in the Boy Scouts of Canada. He owned an airplane for a large part o f h is l i fe which took h im to many a r e a s o f C a n a d a , i n c l u d i n g h i s favourite trips to the Arctic. Spending time with the family at the cottage in Muskoka was very special to him. He r a n t h e O a k v i l l e R a c q u e t S h o p i n downtown Oakv i l l e for many years . Jack was a volunteer at the Oakvi l le Hospital as well.
