(Optometrist; retired 1997, WWII Veteran and member of Branch #120 Royal Canadian Legion and Creditview Masonic Lodge) Peacefully, in the presence of his loving family, on Monday March 5th, 2007 at the Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville. Dr. Hamilton, eighty-eight years of age, beloved husband of Isabel (nee Tupling) Mutch and the late Mildred Lyon(1991). Loving father of Barry and his wife Sue of Acton, John and his wife Myrna of Gravenhurst, Betty and her husband Bill Cunningham of Georgetown and Heather and her husband Marc Roy of Kamloops, B.C. Dear stepfather and stepgrandfather of Jan and her husband Blake Irwin of Redickville and Don Mutch and his wife Connie of North Carolina and their families. Cherished grandfather of Scott Hamilton and Lisa Batstone, Greg and Rob McMillan, Ian and Mandi-Jo Hamilton, Sarah and Melissa Williams. Also, fondly remembered by Heather Cunningham and her husband Scott Hamilton and family. Predeceased by his sister Kathleen Silvester and by his brother Roy Hamilton. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown, 905-877-3631 on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Memorial service will be held in the chapel on Friday March 9th, 2007 at 1:30 pm. Cremation has taken place.
