New associatedirectorappointedThe Halton District School Board has appointed Jeff Blackwell as its new associate director, replacing Ruth Peden, who retired earlier this year.Blackwell was a superintendent of education with the board, with respon-sibilities for the program department, and has spent more than 30 years in the Halton education system.Jeff has led and supported student achievement and excellence in teach-ing and leadership across many portfo-lios including school programs, family of schools, leadership development, and change management, said Director of Education David Euale, in a press release.
