staged the event The tugof war segment is one example Most other students were envious of the film crew as missed the best part of a week of school Few realize the long hours they put In often to mid night On the last Friday the crew were given a test to indicate just how much they had learned about cameras acting and the rules of producing a movie 16 minutes The finished product is a film in full color which has been able to capture almost all the the student body at one tune or another Music has been coordinated with the film but at present still needs a bit more work It impossible to tell about this film without giving away all the plot Thp film crew has tried very hard to keep it a secret Everyone in the school is looking forward to the movies premiere If enough parents and other members of the community show an interest in seeing the film perhaps an evening may be arranged for their viewing Dance planned The Student Council is sponsoring a dance this evening March It will begin at 30 The band which will be plajing Inclination is from Toronto and should provide an excellent evening of dancing A guest list may be found in the office The Council will also soon be starting their candy campaign Chocolate bars and Bridge Mixture will be on sale to the residents of Acton The money from this campaign goes toward making unproved council QviUes and for the support of the life there Mrs William McDonald showed beautiful and interesting slides to complement Mrs Near Many sick Roll call revealed many sick and ailing Colds and the flu have been prevalent and taken their toll in the long steady winter All are wished an improvement in health with hopes to see all soon able to be out to the club Mrs Davidson displayed a beautiful blue and gold quilt recently finished by the quilters in the club Some ticket money was turned in and more tickets given out for sale A lunth of sandwiches and cookies was served by Mrs and her helpers and chocolates were passed around next
