for the scenery etc They have planted trees in front of their stock piles These trees must have grown now to feet high I would guess the trees are supposed to partially hide the stock piles which are at least feet high The picture of the Quarries was taken when the ground was covered with snow I wish someone would take a picture for the paper now After a heavy rain the stock piles shift and gravels a portion of the line and ditches All township Jewellery poetry for moving member RR Acton Ontario road again Sept 1971 The Quarries say have painted their equipment to blend with scenery Whoopee I didn see anything in the paper about the accident on the line hill where the full truck from the Quarries tipped over at the bottom after rolling down the hill back wards Thank goodness there was no one around at the time especially school buses I suppose we need places like this and it does hire people I Just wonder what this area will look like and be left like when and if they are ever finished I also wonder how many homes in Acton haw cracks In their and foundations 1 don care what the tests show but when the Quarries blast and houses vibrate something has to shift Thank you
