throne and reunited with imprisoned daughter while impostor was revealed for what he really was a baldheaded monarch with an evil dis position Aiding and abetting the champions of true kings and opposed to kinks were a dancing singing tribe of Gypsies whose colorful costumes blended well with the majestic robes of the court Supporting the operetta was a chorus of students who the budding actors and actresses with full throated choruses that changed the volume from solo voices raised by the princess the Kink Romany Rose and the Spies and the skeletons the gypsy chief and a tango by and Show opener Opening the show was a Russian folk dance by students from Kindergarten to grade four under Mrs Richard and Mrs Youngsters from Grade One under Mrs Gamble and Mrs Black danced to How D Ye Do my Partner and Shoemaker Klndergartners under Mrs from morning and temoon classes delighted the audience with the Gypsy song and Annie Goes to the Cabbage Patch The drills performed by Grade two youngsters under Mrs Allen and Mrs Griffin were one of the hits of the show with near rope hangings avoided neatly as ropes and were swung and bounced In unison The grade fours rendition of Waggle Gypsies Gypsy Rover and Troika set the mood for White Gypsy which fittingly was introduced with a lightsout auditorium and some mood music from the piano ployed by Mr Taylor Director of the stage hit
