The Acton Press Wednesday May 31 Obituary Charles OBrien dies was village secretary The significance of last Augusts hospitalization of Charles OBrien finally hit home Thursday May 18 when news of his passing at the St Josephs Hospital at a circulated throughout the village The man who had chosen as his retirement hometown years ago was laid to rest in her village cemetery the following Saturday Born in Sunderland Ontario in March Charles OBrien was the eldest son of Martin Louis and Florence OBrien He married Ruth Mc- Brlen as St Johns Roman Catholic Church in 1926 and together they lived In Toronto with their three children Kathleen Eugene Martin and Irene by trade A builder by trade Charles Brien known more af fectionately as Charlie by his CHARLIE OBRIEN incorporated village He and stature He was a wonderful Christian as well as a great man Mr OBrien believed that everyone who visited the Hydro office should be treated equally With background he had been an altar boy when younger and had continued as a devout Christian ever since loving those who knew him and trying not to betray his friends He is survived by his wife Ruth his daughters Kathleen Skinner Brampton Irene LaVoie Guelph and his son Martin six grandchildren Laura Michael and Michelle Skinner Lee and Martin and three great grandchildren Jean Timmy and Geffery the children of Mr and Mrs Gordon Hayward of
